They said the door came loose on the machine. I was very calm and polite until they told me that the machine malfunction. The wheel spun and the ball landed on '0'! After the ball settled in place twenty dollar void showed up on the screen. I was going to the Roulette machine had $10 on 0/00 and basket the 0,1,2 for $10. Ocean Downs Casino is A STRAIGHT UP SCAM!! I'm NEVER going there again. Does she not trust her team members at the entrance that card people? Does she think they aren’t doing their one and only job which is to check for ID’s in order to be granted access to the casino? Smh utterly ridiculous behavior. The fact that she ASSUMED i was there without ID infuriated me. Had she done so I would’ve had no problem showing it to her. We then go the first machine put our money in when all of a sudden this manager comes to me raising her voice at me telling me she denied me entry and that I “Shouldn’t be here” to which I quickly was offended by. The bartender did NOT ask me for an ID since he knows people are carded at the entrance. We came back, my ID was SCANNED at the entrance then we proceeded to get drinks from the bar. She came and immediately had an attitude saying “absolutely not” to which I very kindly said “okay I understand”Īfterwards, my friends and I decided to go back to the hotel to get my ID since we were staying less than 10 mins away from the casino. I then kindly asked if maybe his manager would allow it & he said he doubted it but that he’d call her. I asked the person that cards at the entrance if a picture on my phone would be accepted ( as I had forgotten my ID at the hotel) to which he politely said no. Her Actions were disgusting to say the least. Especially if the guest isn’t being disruptive & disrespectful. Since she’s a MANAGER she should be expected to have superb customer service.

to which she had me kicked out by security due to HER assumption that I didn’t have proper Identification. Terrible Customer Service by The MANAGER VONDA.
